Hi, I’m Michael. I am a Software Engineer with a background in graphic design. After several years serving in the Army and working as a production artist for a t-shirt company, I began to crave a combination of creativity, a deeper scope of web applications and organized structure.

I’ve always enjoyed the technical side of things, as well as restructuring and creating designs. Applying my graphic design skill-set to learning web applications has been both rewarding and challenging. Serving in the military, I led soldiers, learned values of great leadership, all while being a member of a team. It also helped me in my latest role in coaching new-hires as they entered the organization. My background in graphic design has allowed me to put to use my attention for detail and finding ways to connect the client/user ideas to practice.

Marrying my passions and profession, allows me to learn and master different coding languages and still design. It has presented me, both a fulfilling and challenging career that I thoroughly enjoy. I would like to take on oppourtunities that allow me to grow with in my field as well as have the space to teach and share my learnings.
